you won't see moyes playing Barkley much this season which is a pity, when you seen that last season McFadden was making the squad before him, Ossie and Neville will still get a game before him in midfield wait and see.

This pretty much. Just one less option.

I know Tims gettin on a bit, but surely he is worth abit more than £1m. That said good luck TINY TIM your a legend at Everton.

I hope to god Moyes won't make that same mistake again. I was lived about some of the players he was picking over Barkley and Vellios last year but Barkely's a year older now and I live in hope that things will get better.

Nothing wrong with picking Ossie over him, though. He's probably our most creative midfielder when played centrally.

To me he is an Everton legend and deserves to be remembered as such for his fantastic, loyal attitude and model professional behaviour for years. I love him, Moyes' all time best signing, summed up the fighting, never-say-die spirit that epitomises the Moyes era and I hope if he does leave then the Everton fans wish him all the best. The fact that he has Everton tattooed onto his arm says it all, he loves us just like we do him. Thanks for the service, Tim, until 2011 you were absolutely superb. Good luck in USA!

Because we're a better team without him playing? We get a bit of money, a big earner off the wages and Tim gets the regular football he probably won't get here. Should we keep him here on big wages and not play him or play him even when we've got better younger players on the bench like we did last year? Neither option is good for us and neither is great for Timmy, either.
this!

Got to say...

This is the right time for Timmy to be moving on, before he cements his place in peoples minds as a has-been.

He stunk the place out last season, and for half the season before that. We played to his strengths at the detriment of the team for far too long and Naismith will do a better job than him in that role, so will Fellaini.

BIG wages off the wagebill, a small but useful fee, all helps the cause of rebuilding and swapping deadwood for fresh faces.

Thanks for the memories Tim!
