Not sure whether this has been done before but couldn't find anything recent...

I'm a huge lover of anything to do with travelling and experiencing other countries. Part of my job enables me to travel which is a huge bonus for me. I've just started saving up to travel around the world in the next 5 years and was wondering what your absolute favourite place is that you've been too? Or anywhere you've always wanted to go?
You glorious liar. I miss you and hope the Safari lads hunt you down on here again.

A GOT hall of gamer. Thank you @caught.

Just over a week to go before I arrive in Japan. I'm landing in Osaka and I'm flying back from Tokyo. I haven't really got a plan, I'm just gonna see what happens.

I'm probably gonna get nuked!

Morning Chaps.

12 days in Italy starts on Sunday, heading to Florence first. Any places you would suggest seeing, good places to eat or drink etc?

Don't remember much, but the Ufzizi(?) gallery is massive and really busy. Apparently you can buy a ticket online the day before to save yourself a 2 hour queue. You can easily spend 4/5 hours in there as well if you can put up with that much time spent staring at art. Obs Pisa is not far away. There will be about a million people there taking photos of themselves holding up/pushing over the tower. They have a 'Duomo' there too which is nice if you like churches. Can't recall what the queues were like but I think they can't have been so bad. In Florence go over the river and up the hill, there's a big Statue of David (or someone else famous, the person who sculpted it maybe - something like that anyway), and nice views of the city. Can't remember much about food/drink, we just had pizza every night!

Anyone been to Bulgaria?

Looking for something a bit different, ideally a bit quieter and for couples.

What type of holiday? Sunny beach/Varna is the place most head but I wouldn't exactly describe that as quiet.

Plovdiv is supposed to be a charming city and I believe there's direct flights from either Liverpool or Manchester now. Could be wrong.

Off to Crete next week with the missus.

Never been before, any must dos, hidden gems etc?

Staying in a town called Rethymnon on morth coast.
