We were there 4weeks ago. Stayed at Heraonissos. We had a great time. Hired a car and drove to catch a boat to Spinalonga, it's an old Leper colony, well worth it. Spent a day at a waterpark, with 8 year old son, and had a great day. Don't know if you're travelling with a travel company but their days out seemed to be really expensive. Try and sort them yourself, use taxis or hire a car. Hope that is of some help.

Costa Tiguisa (sp) by any chance? Went about 7 years ago and saw a woman get blown over by the wind in August and break a leg....windy as hell
 
Racking some air miles up recently and over the next month or so.

Just back from a week at the US Army War College in Pennsylvania including some time on the Gettysburg battlefields, straight into a long weekend in Limburg where I went to VvV Venlo Vs Ajax, Croatia for a week with the Mrs in 2 weeks, then a week in Johannesburg followed by 6 days in Phoenix (last three of which are a motorbike road trip through Arizona) then a 4 day rest in New York at beginning of December.
Really looking forward to the road trip...two of us from U.K., two from Holland and one from the US....could be very messy.

I can't fly those distances in cattle so needs to be virgin premium economy or BA business. Seems to be huge price differences, basically a few days spends in either resort difference so I suppose what I'm asking is, is vegas loads better than Atlantic city?

I went to Atlantic City for the day when I was in Philadelphia last year, that was long enough unless you want to sit in a casino all day.I walked up and down the boardwalk and watched a game from the Euro's in a boozer.
