Was always warned by my folks of playing on thin ice. Don’t think places freeze over as much now so it’s not thought about. Horrible

On any stretch not any pond, lake river etc thin ice is always in places making it lethally dangerous.....

I put the Recycling Bin out last night. Down my drive was fine as I'd cleared it of ice. Once I reached the pavement though me and the bin just kept going. Thankfully no cars coming up the street as neither me, the bin or a car would have stopped in time.

pushed the bugger back to my wall and started to slide backwards with it back down the pavement again. It was amusing the first 3 times then I got bored VERY quickly.

Good luck to the Collection services when they come round today.

I have to say, that going off road, for a run, the past few days, has certainly been challenging, but incredibly scenic.
