Them moments of Magic

Nothing apart from a couple of decent euro away trips & the united semi final, in 27 years. Yes we are poor, but more than that….we are very very boring to follow.

The 80s. Thank Christ I am an old git and remember us having a great team.

I feel sorry for all you youngsters. You deserve to see us win something and I hope it happens one day.

The Munich semi-final will never leave me. What a night, what an atmosphere. Nothing has ever come close to it.
Honestly as sad as it is I'm not sure it will, I think them days have gone.

I was wondering, amongst all the doom and gloom (and I'm equally as guilty as anyone of this lately) what everyone's real moment of magic with Everton was, that stand out moment or game, moment in the crowd or in the pub before the game.

We all have them, them moments we rember that felt like magic, the reason why we love the blues till this day and still turn up in our thousands.

There's a lot of negativity about, but that's led me to rember why I love going the game, them true electric moments that live with us, and the reason why we have loved Everton despite the heart ache.

So what is yours??
Bayern 1985

What better tribute to the man who gave me my favourite ever time to be a blue than to win the FA Cup and get relegated the week after? This one is for you, Bobby Brownshoes

It isn’t a magic moment as such, but the positivity during Martinez’s first season is probably a high in the decade. United 4-0, maybe too?

In recent times yes, that's the 'moment' for me, and for me it was the 3-0 Arsenal win which made RM look like a tactical genius. Lukaku on the right, Mirallas on the left, 11 points of 1st place 63 points...

I think one moment of magic for me was the Van den Hauwe goal - the title winning one of course - because I think i somehow saw it on a grainy tv or BBC Final Score or something... and i was the only blue in the room and it felt amazing.

Brilliant thread, lots of high points remembered, mine being Andy King's winner
against that lot 1978 was it, first win in a few seasons against them.
PS.
Being a miserable old git, any chance of changing the tile to "Those --. ?

2013 I was sitting in a sports bar on Mission Beach San Diego watching Everton play Chelsea at home
I remember the clearance off the line by Barry, and Naismith goal

I remember when I got home my mate said to me, bet you were gutted not being at the game

Not sure what was the biggest highlight
His comment or the game??
