Them moments of Magic

Didn't make Rotterdam but the whole experience of the semi final second leg was incredible. What I also really loved was the friendship the Dublin ESC made with the Bayern fans.

We all drank together in the Devonshire and I had them singing Shamrock Rovers songs  Absolutely no trouble unlike that mob.
Most of my greatest memories were around Semis(if you'll excuse the pun!) Highbury was awesome too, well up there, was somehow carried on to the pitch and my cousin knocked a bobbies hat off. There is something special about a Semi-Final win, especially in both these which were either late winner or a turnaround like Bayern
You know tho, when the few of us that used to go Goodison in the 80's together, sadly one or two no longer with us, bless em, but we NEVER felt like we would lose, even when we were 1-0 down it just never felt like an option, we were THAT good weren't we!

LOL at singing Shamrock Rovers tunes, must have been a good night to be fair! When the Irish are on song and in the mood for fun, makes for a great time.

We won four leagues from 1984 to 87 and three FAI Cups. We were already champions when we played Bayern. God how I miss the mid 80s

Btw this was the afternoon ☺️ I had to get from GP to the Devonshire, pick up my stuff and get to the ship before 10.15. Still don't know how I made it. Quite a few didn't!

The Bayern fans were sound.

I'm curious what this means??
Back in the day a.n.other fan forum/site existed known as Blue Kipper, sorry Mods!

They are still around on Twitter but the Forums are now defunct? Maybe some of the lads are on here? They used to have a Thread called "Me Arl Fella Shouts" for things both hilarious and not so that used to be said during games. Some genuinely funny stuff and some cringeworthy stuff IIRC. There will cached pages of it somewhere I'm sure?

Damn, should have waited before posting!!!!:D

My top 3 Everton magic moments:

QPR 2-3 Everton at Loftus in 1995. My first game and the result turned the season round.

Baines scoring 2 free kicks against West Ham. Can’t believe it’s nearly 10 years ago.

Jags screamer to equalise against the RS in the derby. Felt like a winning a cup final.
