Why spend the money on a veteran player who may only contribute at a high level for a short time? There’s nothing left to play for and we only need a handful of points for safety. By the time we’ll actually need a player with the quality Walcott has shown before, he might be finished.

Walcott is turning 29 this year... meaning next season he will be 30.. A 30 yr old winger I thought we were looking for pace.. why are we getting players that are in decline

Agreed we need some younger lungs with pace.
