Question becomes though - not all players peak at the same age, and is Walcott 'past his peak at 28', thats the thing to be wary off, a 24 year old Walcott i'd have zero complaints with, this just has a feel of Aaron Lennon mark 2 (albeit he was better at his peak by a way than Lennon)

'Peak' is just the common term.

I mean players who aren't young and full of potential, and not 'experienced' pros, but players who are ready now to do a long term job in the team straight away.

Again, this isn't pointed soley at Walcott as he's leaning into the latter now anyway.

Comparing Walcott and Lennon as if they are even remotely similar in style, just because they are English wingers around the same age. Their skillsets are completely different, you don't even have to be that knowledgeable about football to recognise that.
