Arsenal fans I suspect have rather higher expectations of players.

It's almost like they've spent the past couple of decades watching Henry, Bergkamp, Pires, Vieira, Fabregas, Van Persie, Sanchez and Ozil while we've been trying to big up the likes of McCarthy, Deulofeu, Gueye, Mirallas, Schneiderlin and Besic. Mad how we think we're above proven players like Walcott.

It's not an excellent team. It's a decent team with a player adapted to play in CM, an unproven striker, a RB that's seriously injured, a RW returning from long term injury and a LB and CB that are well passed their best.

Apart from that it's bloody brilliant

There's still a lot of untapped potential in Theo and the fact he turned down the RS and couple of times in the recent past makes him an instant favourite . The kid clearly recognises that we're on the up and they're a club in decline.
