The fact we can't defend either makes it all the more worrying.
How I see it is Pickford (is ok) Kenny (keeps RB until colemans back, no point buying a RB) Holgate (Has impressed ATM should keep his place) the problems are the other 2, Who out of Jags,Williams,Keane? LB Baines (injured so we haven't got one. So to sum it up whatever we need a LB to start or for cover, then pick one of the 3 mentioned above and stick with them, Williams to me since Sam came here looks the best of a bad bunch, but in time I'd like Keane to make that position his own.

At home we should always play two your right.
It's as if our managers in recent times are afraid to lose, but it back fires a lot as in recent times we lost a lot. I think 2 up front at home would show ambition and does put the opposing side on the back foot before the game even starts, today Spurs only had to look at our set up and think, we will be ok today they ain't scoring and hey ho they were right.

How does he improve us though? Who would he have played instead of today and would it have made a difference?

Why can't we improve by being a bit more creative in our transfers than a 28 year old bench warmer who is surplus to requirements at his current club? We've got to start somewhere. I bet you're absolutely livid about some of the business we did this summer. By advocating signing Walcott you're just asking for exactly more of that.

I get what your saying and I do agree. I think for some, just feel that with the crap that has been flung around and the lack of pace, this may not be the answer but it is an improvement. As dire as the times are and the fact he does not check all the boxes that most of us want he does fill the void of pace & production.

bottom line i agree with you.

on the other hand I have no idea what this club is thinking or why we are buying or have bought the players we have in the last 18 months.

Yea we have Lookman. He just can't get in. FFS.

We knew they play a high line we should have prepared to have two up front from the start. We didn't and we're humbled.

He’s a kid mate. Who has been asked to lead the line for a premier league season for a crap team in his first ever full season at this level until today.

It’s wholly unfair on him.

A bit of perspective might help some people.
When certain posters are horrible about him are they having a bit of a joke?
