It will never happen. Today is the proof. There is no good reason why he did not sub on Lookman.
Rooney. (FFS I dont understand all the Rooney love, I really don't. He left at 17 gave his youth and skills to another club. Why the love? because he stepping stoned the [Poor language removed] out of everton?)
We have no LB.

I would love what you have suggested.

After BFS's subs today, your lineup will never be given a chance.

Rooney does not fit in any away high energy games. He did not have the energy level to do that. Better when playing at home.

Let's sign players who are going to get us competing with Spurs. We've wasted so much money on bang average players, why on earth do people want us to do that again with Walcott?

It’s not to do with Spurs or Arsenal - it’s about us improving. He improves us. The top 6 are light years ahead. Forget about them.

It’s all about us improving.

He’ll go to Southampton anyway.

Until we sign a left midfielder we'll still be either playing that absolute cart horse Bolasie, or having Sigurdsson out of position. Because doesn't Walcott play on the right? In any case, either Bolasie or Sigurdsson on the left is a nightmare, for different reasons: for Bolasie as he's simply awful wherever he plays, and for Sigurdsson because he's very poor there and massively out of position.

Have the doubters changed there minds now? If he's the best available at this moment in time we need him is quick.

Replace Bolasie with Walcott in that game and the final score is still Spurs 4-0 Everton. I have in no way changed my mind that spending £20m on a bang average Theo Walcott is ridiculous business.

How does he improve us though? Who would he have played instead of today and would it have made a difference?

Why can't we improve by being a bit more creative in our transfers than a 28 year old bench warmer who is surplus to requirements at his current club? We've got to start somewhere. I bet you're absolutely livid about some of the business we did this summer. By advocating signing Walcott you're just asking for exactly more of that.
