let's not pretend that he looked up, saw Tosun at the back post and put in a measured cross. It was just a hit and hope and he got lucky. Apart from that, as has already been said on here, his decision making is rubbish, he gives away possession far too much and when he does get a chance of a shot he puts in a 'powder puff' effort straight back to the opposition goal keeper. we will never be any good until we get rid of him

People are desperate for Bernard to play which I understand but until Walcott's form falls off the cliff for a number of games he stays in the starting line up. If he plays every game on the right wing this season I expect he'll get between 8-12 goals and probably similar figures in assists.

He played the games but never improved

People were waiting for him to kick on from when he was 18. But he basically levelled off and never improved past a certain level.

There's a reason he is here and not a top 6 team and he hasn't played for England since 2016
