Didn’t control a single ball today. Gave it the big one all week about moving on from Arsenal then turns in that stinker. Will fit right in with all the other cowards and bottlers in the squad.
let's not pretend that he looked up, saw Tosun at the back post and put in a measured cross. It was just a hit and hope and he got lucky. Apart from that, as has already been said on here, his decision making is rubbish, he gives away possession far too much and when he does get a chance of a shot he puts in a 'powder puff' effort straight back to the opposition goal keeper. we will never be any good until we get rid of him
He was so good arsenal let him leave and the arsenal fans protested when he left.

Oh wait
Utterly bizarre shouts these to be honest.

This thread is the very definition of people having to have something to moan about.
...a tone that reverberates through pretty much every thread in this forum. I wouldn't like to suggest tendencies of entitlement colour the opinions of some among the support base, but the successes we all enjoyed back in the 80s might, just now, be coming home to roost.
In fairness, a quick glance around other forums evidence Evertonians are not unique in suffering in the 'vacuum of past success'. Southampton and West Ham's forums are similarly heavily salted with like tone, (resulting from those teams' success in the FA Cup a few years back, I would guess).
I'm not one to over-dramatise, (and it's just a small thing I considered needing drawing some attention to), but entitlement is something we need to be wary of assuming...because, like pride, entitlement cometh before a fall.

The guy hasn't played for England since he was 26 or 27.
He had a chance(more then most) to become a regular first team but never made it. He was always in and out of the team due to consistency

I was constantly baffled by his non selection though. Bagged 21 goals one season and couldn’t get in the squad. If he hadn’t been selected for the World Cup squad at 16 he would be lauded, however he is judged by the fact he isn’t in the top tier of world elite footballers.
If you look at his stats he is a career a goal every 4 games player. However considering that includes a few season as a teenager where he played a lot but scored few.
From the age of twenty he has been around 1goal every 3 appearances.
That is strong for any forward in the premier league, especially when you consider he is not an out and out striker.
Theo is a goal theat, a good pro and more than Comfortably a first team player for us.

'A false sense of entitlement' is a phrase that I usually associate with kopites, because entitlement is usually accompanied with severe delusions of grandeur.

I sincerely hope that the larger majority of Evertonians don't exhibit those traits! I like to think that despite being grumpy (thanks to Everton!) we're mostly realists who are capable of managing our expectations.
