Enjoyed watching Walcott. Just declined to much and had to move on to pastures new! Sure he will do well at Southampton.

I liked him, I thought it was a poor signing at the time as indicative of a player on the way down and a reject of a club we are trying to compete with. And on big wages.

But he had a good attitude and was not short of effort by and large I thought.

So I hope he does well at Soton, of all the signings in the recent past he didn't make the roll-call of shame in my book, not at all.

He wanted to go to MLS not Southampton.
I’m sure he will be offski in the summer.
He will do really well in America.

I would suggest that he fitted the Silva formations better than the Carlo. Silva always wanted one creative winger and one fast winger. Carlo seems to opt for more creativity on both sides of the pitch simultaneously. He did give us an added option to change things for the last few minutes of a game pitting speed against tiring legs out wide but his end product was so lacking that it wasn't worth it. there are likely some much faster, younger and hungrier speed merchants in the Championship.

Lovely bloke. Wouldn't say a bad word about him personally.

Just never really fulfilled the potential the media determined he had. If he did, we wouldn't have been able to sign him.

Best of luck to him.

Every few years there's a London area "prospect" they do it with. Walcott, Alli etc.

Though He was rubbish at Arsenal thought he was rubbish for England and always thought he'd be rubbish for Everton and he didn't disappoint never liked him vastly overrated gutted when we signed him glad he's gone.
