Transfer Rumour Thiago Silva

I think that may be a different story in Brazil. With Richarlison and Thiago Silva the club will surely be on the lips of a lot of Brazilian kids for the next 12/24 months. Would help any attempts at recruiting promising talent from there and Brands does seem to like South America.
As far as PL markets go, South America is down the list.

If somebody has an interest in footy and doesnt know who all 3 are they should probably consider Grid iron.
You don't build your brand through flipping passionate fans. It's about casuals coming aboard and there are a host of reasons I don't see Silva as doing that.

I would take him everyday of the week. He should be judged on performance and fitness not age. Agreed he is unlikely to improve as an individual, but he improves us as a team and is a level above anyone we have in that position.

He is also a leader on the pitch, something we desperately need and imagine the impact he could have on Holgate’s development playing alongside him. Richard Gough did ok and he was older than Silva when he played for us wasn’t he?

He also has the longest Wiki page for a footballer I’ve ever seen!

Alright Bobby Axelrod.
I don't really care if we sign players to build our "brand" or whatever, someone suggested it and as someone who knows a lot of pretty casual football fans abroad I can tell you it won't mean much at all as Rooney didn't mean much and more people know him.

When you get managers like Carlo and sign players like Silva, the people who matter notice.
