What a strange thing to say. I suppose a lot of people who go though don't go to any other concerts during the year, the musical equivalent of corporate prawn sandwich munchers at the FA cup final.
Classical music is certainly better live though.

Those that go are rarely in the same county as anyone a 'bit ethnic'. Last time I saw so many white faces at one event was at the Nuremburg rally.

And i do like classical music. Just the pomp and circumstance of the Proms winds me up a treat and the fact it just goes on and on.
