Agreed

But the 40k Evertonians who turn up every home game (your good self included) and the 4k away fans every other week and all the Evertonians who don't go the game or can't go the game or live 1000,s miles away and still wake up at 4am to watch the game....they deserve Everton Football Club to be rescued.

The players don't deserve it
The chairman doesn't deserve it

But the fans do and the manager as well.
 

The players clearly don't care. Sick of them ruining my days and costing me thousands per year. Decades of supporting them from the stands, this is end of Martinez era hatred I have for the clowns, when I nearly packed in the season tickets.
Match goers can have a pop at me, those that don't, shouldn't.

For what? What is the point of it? To survive and struggle again next year or see our better players sold in the summer?

This current charade known as Everton Football Club is not the football club I fell in love with.

I think it's delusion of the highest order if we think us staying up is down to the fans.
What if we lose on Sunday? Is it the fans fault or players?

Unfortunately it doesn't matter how much your fanbase makes an atmosphere, if your players are crap you lose games.

Our players are badly crap.

The charade known as Everton Football Club is still Everton Football Club, the club we all love, the reason why your on the Internet right now coming up to midnight completely pissed off saying what is the point.

Its because it's Everton Football Club.

I know what your saying mate, I agree, it's an absolute shambles but going back to the original point, we have to dig deep, dig deeper than we've ever done before. Deeper than you've ever done before and I know you will because your an Evertonian. Massively pissed off tonight but by Sunday you'll be gagging for the match to come, you know it because your an Evertonian.

Drag the lazy tits over the line if you have to, but you will mate, because your an Evertonian and that's what Evertonians do

Appreciate the sentiment but if there is one thing that the last few years has taught me is that EFC are not and will never be one of my top priorities any longer.

The club may be EFC by name but it's so far removed from the institution it was when I first started following the club it's unrecognisable.

Its like a domestic abuse story and I don't say that lightly. Why bother.

I haven't got the energy or the passion to care about this group of players pretending to be custodians of our club.

Will I be their on Sunday? Of course. Do I want us to win? Of course but I certainly don't care enough to think us as a fanbase are accountable now for results. If we were we would have won far more trophies.

I certainly wouldn't disagree with your last paragraph Jinks.

If we do lose, it will never be on the account of Evertonians and I've always said that when people have criticised the fanbase.
 
Wolverhampton Wanderers should be terrified of coming to Goodison. Our fans are brilliant. My age group including me where bloody awful in the early eighties we gave a better team of triers dogs abuse including Howard. These younger fans do get behind a team whose softness is criminal. The Leader has been soft for years, culture comes from the top and Bill is soft as poo. Somehow we need a back four or three for the Wolves game, good luck Frank.
