I agree with both sides of the argument. Unfortunately, it will take a full revamp of the players regardless of relegation for the club to move forward. I'm not sure Everton has the right people in charge to do it though.

Not sure why you say that mate, he is 100% correct.

Only Goodison can get us over the line now.
Agreed!

Our next match against Wolves is make or break for our season and for our club. We need to get behind our players like our lives depend on it. I know that the England goalie Ben Foster said the other week that for years our fans have helped the opposition players at Goodison and unnerved our own lads. However, Daniel James, the Welsh lad who plays as a winger for Leeds, said we were like a 12th man when we trounced Leeds. We can make a real difference.

We need to see this game the same way the play off finalists of the Championship see their winner takes all game at Wembley: give it everything as a one off game....because it is. If we dont defeat Wolves we'll plummet out of control into the bottom 3 and stay there.

Wolves have got to be made to feel that and be frightened to perform...just as eventually Wimbledon were and Coventry were.

It's do or die against Wolves. It might sound melodramatic, but the rot has begun to set in and a defeat or even draw against Wolves will see it finally take over.

We need fans more than ever, but some teams aren't going to be intimidated by the atmosphere and cave in like we do.

They'll play against a defence that can concede 3+ in any game/against any opposition.

Just don't see Wolves or Newcastle rolling over like Leeds did.

If the fans cared they wouldnt be booing, cant moaning about the players puttng no effort in when the fans cant get up for it either

Really, the fans don’t care? The players are getting paid £100k plus a week to keep fit and play a sport, most people would love to be in their position.

The fans are paying their hard earned money to be entertained, so maybe it should be the players that get the fans going.

Would you go to the pictures to watch an actor put in a half arsed performance?

So much wrong with this, for a start it matters nothing what the players get paid, they get it good or bad, sad reallity is the pay isnt performance releated.

Also the fans are not paying their hard earned money to be entertained, they are paying to watch Everton, they are there too support, or should be, if they just want some entertainment go the cinema or the theatre.

The problem is fans shouting abuse and being on players backs have never made them play better and never will, Frank has said this a few times, even this mouring he said they need the fans, unless we back them and encourage for 90 minutes they will go down, even against Boreham there was groans, i remember the Bayern game, after they scored the crowd was still fully behind the team, with the fan base we have these days there is no chance we would be winning cups and leagues like we did then.

The fans are not to blame for all this, but they are doing nothing to help and they should

What will it take to turn the fans though?

we’ve only been behind to City at home under Lampard, what if Wolves go 1-0 up? Or beat us? Will that end the home honeymoon?

For me, we need to keep going strong, because there’s only one way we’re staying up and that’s with the home support and games.

We really need some luck along the way with injuries, and I think we’ll be okay. But it’s looking very perilous as of now.

Thankfully none of these players are Lampards apart from Dele. So I’m sure he will have no qualms showing them the door.

Hopefully he can get the backing he needs or we can shift certain players to raise funds
