Tim Cahill - an Everton executive?

I reckon we'll see something in the next couple weeks about him being an adviser to the Mosh or some sort of DoF role... I think he has the brain and personality to help us push on from mediocrity NSNO

I read somewhere recently that the post he's being considered for is a part-time role.

Much rather see him in a senior full-time position where he can have an impact long term.

The reports of him being appointed in an official, full-time capacity seem to be receeding. He seems to have been an adviser through the interviews and sat in on them.

We still need some DOF equivalent. It's not the role that's the issue, its the continual interference from non-footballing figures. I'd be amazed if Lampard thought this level of support was unnecessary.

Perhaps have to wait until the summer.

Wonder if he is being used as a middle man for qatari money.
Go sort them out Tim lad, and if they get their house in order we might look at investing our sportswash money into them.

The Echo suggested a part time advisory role last night. I don't think he's in the running for DOF, but it will be good to have him involved.

It generally annoys me how much of an "old boys" club we are at times but this is one ex-player I think would be very good to have involved. He seems to have the brains, experience, personality and love for the club to be a real asset.
