Never gets the credit he deserves for his World Cup goals. The one against Holland is one of the best World Cup strikes ever, the length of the cross, taking that on the full volley with his wrong foot, it’s absolutely brilliant. His second against Japan is fantastic also, so is his header against Chile. If Gerrard or Rooney had scored them for England, or Ronaldo for Portugal they’d be played over and over again.

We'd be talking about them forever!
I know Tim Howard, Tim Cahill and Arteta were not world renowned and didn't enjoy the status of Schmeichel, Cech, Lampard, Rooney and others in their era, but they really lifted up Everton for several years. Those three, Jagielka, Lescott and the two full backs made for a really strong team at that time. Cahill was underrated outside EFC in the Premier League but not in Australia of course

This.

I see Richarlison as the new Cahill but with more ability. Has that snide streak, has bought into the club, he just gets it and we all love him for his commitment. Good or bad game he doesn’t hide.

Cahill always appreciated his luck of career and he just loves playing footy, Richy just seems the same.
I think we’l be lucky to get 8 seasons out of richarlison

Typical Aussie mentality, never took seconds and had an enormous desire to win every week.
Not the most gifted player we’ve ever had, not even the most gifted player in his Everton team, but, what a great attitude he had.

Managed to finish the last Football Focus of the season by talking about Everton. When Dan Walker pulled him up he just said “40 minutes talking about Liverpool is enough”

Top man

That was incredible from Cahill, superb stuff and he's bang on the money.

Signed with us on this day 16 years ago. Absolutely loved Tim Cahill as a player, and he was pretty much the reason I started supporting Everton

Absolutely giggling at Kevin Kilbane just waltzing past two Palace players, That Chelsea goal never gets tiring does it.

Did you see his deadpan face when they announced they were playing the Klopp documentary thing for the second time? lol
