Look at the vid again, starts with Ross 4 yards or so off the goal line that is not near post. Near post is a defender standing on the line holding the post! According to baines it is RM who makes the decisions on matters such as this.

In what way was that a defense of Howard? Compare what they (the backline and keeper) did when Moyes was in charge vs. Bobby. Kind of sick of the American call outs. The comment being responded to was in regard to Howard, Jags, and Alcaraz.
Clean sheets and saves get you points. He's 18th, he's missed 6 games so it's slightly skewed but Pantilimon, for one, didn't play the first 9 of the season.

What are the columns measuring? I don't really trust a table that puts Courtois 16th out of 20. Easily one of the best in the world. Also, I don't think anyone is saying Howard hasn't been crap this year.
edit: Is this really just looking at total saves? Horrible way to judge a keeper.
Fantasy points. Courtois is low because keepers of better teams see less shots so can't get points for multiple saves. Forster is top purely on clean sheets, some keepers are up there because they see a lot of shots and keep clean sheets. Howard is very low because he doesn't see a lot of shots and doesn't keep any clean sheets
