I don't understand why there is so much back and forth here. I mean, how many different points can you argue (from either side) before you've covered everything. Bottom line... Howard is a good keeper. Do we need a better, younger keeper? Yes we do, but he is the best goalkeeper we have atm. Is that good enough for the standards we've set? Likely not.

If TH had played today we would have got beat 3-1 - Robles made a few saves , but I agree he looks nervous, he needed a run in the team when he played well in his three games last season - typical of RM go out there V Arsenal with a pathetic line up - nothing in my eyes reckon TH would have save any of those goals!
We do need to find out though if the pair of them are capable on that performance today Gordon Banks, Big Nev would struggle!
Maybe a deal is needed to fetch in a decent Keeper!

Just admit that Joel is utter tripe ffs. It's okay being wrong mate.

It's not just the goals he conceded, it's his all round display. He makes a meal of the simple things, spilling tame efforts rolled at him and scrambling around in a panic. He's shockingly bad.
