II never watched it, listened to the second half while painting. The commentators on Talksport were not complimentary about him.
So if Tim super Howard would have been in goal today we would have played better?...What part of his all round display isn't getting through to you? He's flapping about in a panic at everything. Simple things are a struggle with him. Walcott rolled a cross from the byline in the 1st half at his feet, yet somehow Robles dives for it, palming it away. You could of thrown a cap on it. Such was the cross, me or you could of picked it up. Just weird. Let's not talk about his effort or lack of for the 1st goal, diving over the shot. Coleman should of covered yes, but Joel was poor too.
2nd half I saw him scrambling around on numerous occasions in his goalmouth. It was clear to me he didn't know where his posts were behind him, with the panic he shown. Spilled a tame shot right at him, flapping the ball out before a defender bailed him out.
It's his all round game joey. He's very bad and is a massive weak link for me. No confidence in him at all.
So where's the Sky money Bill?Nah mate. No chance we've paid all that up front.

Doug super Tim would have been stuck on his line Sky blamed Stones no blame attached to Robles at all only the Roble haters on here!Well Joe I'd have thought he'd have been out quicker for the first one with Walcott and not stayed back once Colemans caught on the wrong side, and the second one I'd have hoped he'd not leave a big gap on his near post to roll the ball into.
The 3rd was a clusterfuck of mistakes and nothing he could be expected stop really. But for Robles it's just about every basic instinct a keeper should have he seemingly lacks, he looks lost on a football pitch.
Like I said before some goalkeepers make a career out of being benchwarmers and this lad looks nothing more than that.
If you had watched the game instead of painting you lucky thing you may have realised Arsenal were just kicking in - it was Men v the Boys, and unfortunately we were like schoolboys!I want rid of him as well, just a bit less than the donkey Robles.

You sure did bud - one shining light was RB goal, but the way we played no one in front of the full backs agin a dis organised midfield - Robles needed Dougs old floorboards behind him with the goals battoned up to stop Arsenal scoring for fun!I think I made the right decision to paint so I could watch the golf instead of us.
Or send Tim to the MLS and save a fortune on his wages Doug, Robles needs a run if he does not cope he needs loaning out to get game time!
Using your logic we keep Grandad for ever?
How did he keep three clean sheets then Doug ? Head the ball away where as Tim H is just brilliant on Crosses, if he had been in goal today do you seriously think the score or the result would have been any different - put the whisky bottle away Doug!lolHe doesn't want to go back Joe.
We just need to try again with the original plan of a young keeper to push him with the potential to be our number 1.
It's not worked out with Robles but given our resources it's worth another go, just next time get a young keeper who's not got an allergy to footballs and wasn't taught at the Laurel and Hardy school of catching.
agree when you play three Prem games with three clean sheets ,and get dropped nothing down for him under RM!Howard is the #1 for at least 1 or 2 more years. I'm tired of hearing Joel is going to beat him out... Not a chance!

Maybe looked nervy today - I admitted that, but the way we played no Keeper in the world would have stopped arsenal scoring, at the end of the day it was a run out, surprised RM chose him above TH in a final being it was a Mickey Mouse one , but indications were RM wanted to win?Or maybe Joel is turd.
Can't teach size...hopefully he learns how to not be terrible. He's still young, hopefully he figures it out. Personally would rather have him on loan in the Championship.
