15 starts in all competitions isn't terrible for a 20 year old, most villa fans saying he has good potential.

It’s not terrible no and it’s not a criticism of him as a player but he’s not made the grade there and it’s not a good sign for the academy that we’re having to bring that level of player in at his age instead of producing them ourselves.

They are signing McKennie and Barkley, already have McGinn, Kamara and Tielemans so I cant see them spending what we would want for Onana.

….i hoped he was a member of Villa’s FA Youth Cup winning team but it doesn’t look like he was. Signing young players is a sensible strategy but as with any footballers they have to be good.
