Not sure what to make of this. Shades of the Chermitti deal.

I was assuming we wouldn’t have too much cash so surprised by spending 10m on an unproven prospect.

Rather bring those in on loans with option, and use the cash on more experienced players ( 100+ senior appearances)

Would love for him to be a success - of course.

You could argue the complete opposite. Bring your expereienced players in on loan, lower cost and it’ll be a set fee to buy them. Invest in young players to A, build a profit on him, or B, use those loan players to improve the youth players.

Loan players who do well (we would never be wasting loans on kids who need a year to step up..) will sky rocket in value.
