Meanwhile in the land of bellends.
They are actually foaming at the mouth at our over exuberant behavior, FFP, PL preferential treatment????? and being able to sellout all our home and away matches.
Oh they wish they could be like us but not a chance.
52,000 delusional horse punching fannies every other week.

The fact Leeds and Burnley can’t take the fact we’re staying up, when a one point it seemed a near certainty we’d drop and are kicking off on technical issues, stinks!! Wish it was possible for both to drop! The media and so called ex pros coming out to slaughter us for what happened just shows how gutted we didn’t drop!

The Swiss ramble has said on twitter that he believes the case Everton have to answer is how they can justify declaring 88 million worth of losses to the covid effect on the transfer market and its effect on Evertons income. He states that other clubs managed to receive money during this period etc.

But the thing is its all over to interpretation. How can they legally prove that Everton didn't lose that amount. In fact its very feasible to suggest that Everton did. In January 2020 Everton reportedly rejected an 85 million pound bid for Richarlison from Barcelona. In 2021 Barcelona didn't have any money left and that reason could certainly be due (at least in part) to covid.

Now potentially Everton could have had a verbal agreement in place with Barcelona for a 90 million sale of Richarlison in 2021. But due to the effects of covid the deal was not possible. What are they then supposed to do? Accept a sale or a key asset for a massively cut price? Surely not.

So this could be an example of how Everton came to this conclusion. How can anyone legally prove otherwise. There is too much interpretation involved.
