Do you know what Bumley and Leeds really hate?
That we came together and showed what we're supposed to be these last couple of months. We turned up, every last one of us. No one at this club accepted going down as an option. We showed our big club mentality finally.
That and we can piss 300 million up the wall and get away with it.
Nothing wrong with being a small club, as long as you just accept it. You'll have you glory moments against the big boys and those moments are sweet and to be treasured. Don't let the big time go to your heads though. Too many clubs after a couple of succesful seasons think they can claim to be on a par with Everton. This nails it and imo is why all those other no mark clubs are bitter and angry also. They only wish they could have fanbases like ours, a fanbase that can make a genuine tangible difference. Unlucky lads, you’re crap clubs, you’re small clubs, and you’re that for a reason. Gtfo of our league, you contribute nothing and won’t be missed.

About 4 years ago my dad remarried in his 60’s. My step-mum’s ex is a Newcastle fan. So I now have 4 (FOUR!) step-brothers who are all big Newcastle fans. They’re actually nice lads but they’re not shy in telling me and my dad about their dislike of Everton. I just tell them that I don’t really have an opinion of their club, as they are such an absolute irrelevancy, and I put them in the same bracket as weirdo Watford fans who think they have some kind of rivalry with us.I’m literally torn between which set of fans I hate the most; kopites or wannabe Geordie kopites.
Must be something in the air ??
That's incredible stuff. Logically, one would say "what business is this of La Liga's?" But then you see the word "business" and you realise that football is absolutely down the toilet. One or two wondered why people like me spoke so harshly about modern football, the Champions League, and the Premier League the night Eintracht beat Rangers in what was a wonderful Europa League tournament this season. Well, other than me being a redundant old fart, this is precisely why. Players are now commodities and how dare anybody get in the way of Florentino Perez, the Jabba the Hutt of world football, and his creepy little hanger-on, Salacious Crumb AKA Javier Tebas.
Struggling to compute this!I listened to Ziegler on Talksport last night. It's petty brief, but he reckons this will move slowly and not at Burnley and Leeds hoped for pace. He also says he thinks it's a problem for the PL and potentially one for Everton, that he cant see Everton being relegated with a points deduction, but he does think things might happen further down the line...presumably a fine or even a points deduction for next season.
