Them being alive down there according to last report is far worse than initial theory about high pressure explosion on first descent, which would have been painless.

Just scrolling through Facebook there and, I have to say, I was genuinely a little shocked by the amount of people celebrating this.

I think I get dark humor and have certainly laughed at my share of the Darwin Awards.

But the fact that they are possibly still alive and facing what would be one of my all time worst ways to die and there is a 19 year old involved with his own dad potentially watching - I honestly couldn't wish it/celebrate it for my worst enemy.

Not to mention the Karma factor.

If they never find the sub i fully expect conspiracy theories about how they are actually alive and on an island with all the MH370 passengers waiting to be used as pawns when WW3 starts.

What's the point in spending millions looking for bodies who did something incredibly risky of their own free will?

It will no doubt become a recovery operation for a while, if still not found that will stop and I would imagine one of the families will pay for a private company to try and find them.
