Pellegrini finished 2nd to arguably the greatest ever club side with a club-record points total - and was also sacked.

Wouldn’t class either as failures to be honest.

Ancelotti won a CL, Pellegrini failed to win anything, he was knocked out of the CL by Lyon, He was knocked out of the Copa Del Rey by 2nd division Alcoron

You're telling me he's a top manager because he finished top 4 with Malaga and Villareal

No one gives a toss because Pellegrini won literally nothing with Real Madrid. Ancelotti won La Decima.

Yes. Taking clubs like that up the league to the highest level is an incredible achievement, even if it doesn’t result in actual silverware.

He’s an absolute tit mate, can’t live with the embarrassment of being so wrong about something. He had West Ham challenging the top 6 with superstar players like Anderson and Haller and a top manager in Pellegrini. Look at the state of them in reality.
