Not sure of the mathematics of it, but just seen on Twitter that if City lose this and then drop points in 1 of their next 4 fixtures (which include Leicester and United away), then, (assuming Liverpool keep winning) they could officially win it at Goodison.

Weekend when City play Villa in the LC final is when they’ll clinch it imo, think City will batter West Ham next Sunday, Liverpool likewise the week after at Norwich to maintain the 22 lead, City and Leicester will cancel each other out on 22nd meaning the RS could go 24 ahead on the Monday against West Ham then they go to Watford the weekend of the final where a win could put them 27 ahead

It is not compulsory for any club to provide a guard of honour if they face the newly crowned League champions but it is a ceremony agreed between the two clubs beforehand. Players may be reluctant, but they cannot be forced to do it by any footballing authorities.
