Watched that on ITV4 yesterday, plenty of nostalgia, but as for that song, wait until the semi when england fans sing a song better associated with another team in this city. 1996 truly was a strange time!
 
I do expect that some younger viewers will watch these heavily defensive games in half empty stadiums and wonder why us older folk hold Euro 96 in such high regard

No, it wasn’t a perfect tournament, but sometimes a tournament becomes more than the sum of it’s parts
