I have had the pleasure and privilege of watching David Silva live and close up for many years. Trust me, at his peak
he was up there with the best of them. An absolutely outstanding footballer. His vision, timing and passing could
take your breath away. He's been off the boil for the past couple of seasons that is for sure. But on his day he
really was top draw. He never got the recognition he deserved. If he had played for United or Liverpool you would never heard the
end about him.

I remember him scoring some headers because he’s tall. Apart from that he’s pure comedy to watch and it’s a shame we haven’t seen more of it.

Best English striker since Shearer, when fit. And thats the rub. He hardly ever wasnt. Or is.
