Problem is we havent the quality to win the games we shouldnt be winning - therefore the games we should win which we do - we never truly move ahead of those who also win the games they should be.

The gulf between 10/11 clubs in the league and the bottom 9 or so is massive.

Burnley finished above us 2 seasons ago and are currently above us now.

We are the better team but they are comfortably a top half or so side atm - they beat the teams they need to and get walloped by the top 6 - kinda like us.

So? Didn’t they finish about 15th last season?

Stoke were never part of a “top” anything, and Burnley Football Club certainly aren’t. They’ll be back in the Championship within 3 years.

Not saying they are anything special - just that there is a clear top 10/11 this season and the current table shows that.

The fact with 7 games to go Palace/Burnley/Sheff Utd who are all alehouse sides are only a few points off Europe shows the sides like ourselves/Arsenal/Spurs have fallen back and need a kick up the arse for next season.

You dont win points by having a good team on paper.

....with Norwich seemingly doomed, it’s looking like any 2 from 4 at the bottom. As lots of us recall, a dreadful time for those involved. Since those days, I’ve only wished relegation on one side but I hope they are crowned Champions this evening.
