Liverpool will have their poor run, just like they did after the new year last season. It's a smallish first team squad and they'll play a lot of games and they'll lose points. This is all now down to what City do. If they play to their standards they'll heap a lot of pressure onto the serial bottlers.

In the mean time, tell all the Kopites it´s theirs and that only a monumental slip up could prevent them from lifting the crown.

The only saving grace is their scheduling November/December.... Champions League, Premier League, Cup games, World Club Championship games.

They don't pick up any injuries and for the most part play the exact same 11 and certainly the same Midfield/Attack.

This is true, whilst they´rel busy crowing about beating some inferior team over in Qatar, they´ll be potentially messing up their title challenge. An injury to Mane or Van Dijk would be a huge game changer too.

Liverpool have just put in two poor away performances against two average sides losing one and just about holding on for a win at the other thanks to poor opposition finishing and people are worried they’ll win all 38 games?!

If City retain their level from last season Liverpool would have to be flawless and they don’t look like it so far. If Pep gets clever and does what he did v Norwich though then he’ll hand it to them.
