Nothing would please me more than to get rid of these so called Elite sides and reclaim the game back to the local fan.

When their super duper global pudding league colapses, don't let the rats back to their domestic roots.
Problem is TV and dopes like me in America or China or wherever else worldwide that eat up this current set up. I don't see that revenue stream drying up.

I'd sack him tonight....they're as spineless as we are and Emery is responsible for that... As much as I dislike Klopp, he has instilled a never say die attitude in every play at that club... No way should that Liverpool team have beaten any Premier league side tonight, let alone a top 6 team, unbelievable...

The mentality of both sides is on full display in that result

I just wish Everton had the same mentality of this Liverpool side

They just do not give up, no matter what the score or the scenario

It's just beyond my comprehension. They would have conceded that VAR penalty at Brighton and then won 5-2 or something. They just have everything right top to bottom in their organisation and they also have a devoted fan base who never give up either, and when you combine it all together it makes them pretty much unbeatable

They're running away with the league and they don't even have a midfield. It's astounding and utterly sickening

I'm a season ticket holder - only went one game this season.

I enjoy going to town for a drink/something to eat far more than the game; so much so that going the game actually ruins the day.

I take my son to concerts / theatre and meals too rather than the match.

As a young adult I had dreams of having a son and taking him the game. But the costs combined with the blatant 'know your place' directive from the powers controlling the 'product', make me keep him away.

How times have changed since the TV money spewed in.

This. The beauty of football used to be it's unpredictability..... almost all league clubs in the 80's and early 90's had their turn in the sun, even the likes of Wimbledon and Luton Town. Now, save for a Blackburn or Leicester City event every 20 years or so, there's a patently obvious desire by the authorities to ensure the money-making elite of club football are well-established at the top table.

Think only 3 sides outside of the now established top 4/6 have won the FA Cup in the last 25 years.

A competition that has been marginalised too by the bloated CL.

I feel the game is like that giant inflatable in a certain episode of Phoenix Nights, both in terms of what the inflatable was, and that it is about to bang in spectacular fashion.

Once stadia become empty and atmosphere fades, the cheat clubs will look to break away (that is already happening imo).

We are 2 months into VAR and all it has done is rubber stamp the bias.

Give it a couple more seasons of: increasing costs, the need to pay per game (SKY / BT / VIRGIN / AMAZON / DISNEY)

The bubble will pop.

I think the end game is a franchised European League. And I'm kind of coming around to just letting it happen. I can keep following Everton and ignore the annoying overselling of these "big 6" like they're the beginning and end of the sport.

The VAR pen was never but RS would not have it given against them. That is more about the TV brand bias than our performance. Football did not just sell its soul to tv, it sold the results as well. You cant beat the RS, Chelsea, Man U etc.You have to batter them so the bias has nowhere to go. Think Clattenberg
( dodgiest game ever) Suarez and Rodwell and I could go on. Not bitter, just disgusted that it has come to a battle of the brands.

The game is corrupt at the top level. An abundance of cash corrupts anything.
