Once stadia become empty and atmosphere fades, the cheat clubs will look to break away (that is already happening imo).

We are 2 months into VAR and all it has done is rubber stamp the bias.

Give it a couple more seasons of: increasing costs, the need to pay per game (SKY / BT / VIRGIN / AMAZON / DISNEY)

The bubble will pop.
It will not unless supporters stay away, event then they will use tech to pretend it was full and noisy

That’s the thing though, this was their kids. Their kids have exactly the same mental steel as their senior players and manager. Terrifying.

Yet our supporters keep banging on about how good Unsworth has done.

They try to produce players who understand what's needed to play for the first team. They focus on individual development.

We try to win reserve leagues and play overage players rather than loaning or moving them on. Academies are about developing quality players not about developing quality reserve teams. If that happens along the way then great, but it's not the priority.

I honestly don’t know why Unsworth hasn’t moved on to first team management down the leagues at this point. Is it because Kenwright won’t let him leave? Is it because he’s too comfortable and has no intention of bettering himself? How many managers stay managing reserve teams for 6 years, it’s not normal.

To be fair, for once, he's right.... Shows up how lazy the FA has become when no one saw this possibility, and it took Klopp to point it out.. Their fixture list in November and December has no room for this 1/4 Final... They'll have to switch a Premier league game to fit it in...

I seem to remember us having to play a league Cup game on a Tuesday after we had played late Sunday.

Same should happen to that lot, Saturday, Tuesday CL, Thursday league Cup, Sunday league game = 19 injuries and we can all go home happy. What's not to like :)

Yep Duffy made his debut against spurs I think

Moyes was livid

Same as Duncan Ferguson, he was given the job to help him get out of debt, I understand that but surely now he must of paid off everyone.
He should try managing in the lower leagues

I think that he (Unsworth) may 'appreciate' his level of coaching / management and knows that he has a steady, successful career at that level.

His short tenure as our interim manager didn't really go down well with the more experienced players and the board, from what I was told.

Ferguson, I suspect, is something else entirely.
