At the beginning of the season there was a directive that any handball in the box was a Pen, they'd taken intent out of the decision.

Not following it now it would seem.

The rule change was that any handball which directly led to a goal, whether intentional or not, would lead to the goal being disallowed. Completely different story for the defending team, intent is still taken into account. Do you want a situation where an attacker can blam the ball against a defenders hand from two yards and it’s a penalty?

But Liverpool won possession through that handball and immediately scored. Surely they're the attacking team there and it should be ruled out?

First one (Trent Arnold handball in the first half before the first goal) was a stonewall penalty. I was referring to the incident where Pep went totally bananas just before.

Like Mane did in the CL final you mean.
fancy you showing up all of a sudden

.
Our fanbase will not accept them winning a Champions League & then a first league title in 30 years on top of clubs like Leicester qualifying for the Champions League whilst we bumble around in midtable talking about expected losses and must wins against the bottom 3.

Our fans were just relieved they blew the title last year thats why the CL didnt hurt - this one will definitely hit us harder.
Why? You cant make a sweeping generalisation when a lot of us have already seen them win both before...trebles n all. Were still Evertonians who cant stand them and would never want to be Kopites. If they do end up winning it, Mane, Salah and possibly Van Dijk will probably take the Euro bait and move to Spain/Italy so they wont maintain the success anyway. Stuff them.

I din't think the CL one was a pen, and I didn't the Alexander Arnold one today was a pen, but I can see why the CL was given, as he was sticking his arm out pointing and knocked the ball away with it.
