Today’s Football 2019/20 Season

Only thing that will stop them is a massive injury crisis. Given that their players never seem to get injured despite running marathons every match I think this is unlikely.
Huge fixture pile up in December plus 2 games in TWO days either side of the world. I am expecting things to change.

Christ almighty. Spurs

That team is mentally broken. That same group of players (who were better than the RS in the CL Final by all accounts) have thrown in the towel, and are 20 points behind the same opponents after 12 games.

Can’t recall a collapse like it. Man for man they are definitely top three in the league (best team at Goodison bar none last season, with Son the best player I’ve seen live in the last couple of years). That CL Final has proved to be a sliding doors moment..little bit more luck, they win that game, club takes on a different look (no more ‘Spursy’), Champions League winning players their confidence would be sky high, and would have followed it as contenders for the Premier League.

Have a soft spot for Spurs as they having always played entertaining football, and Poch always comes across as a class act. They have so much in place already (top manager, best stadium in the league, some world class players), they just need to steady the ship, get rid of those not putting it in (the disgrace that is Eriksen has downed tools), and build from there.

I've said on here many times I KNOW of one who is bent.
I even wrote to the managers of clubs involved in his decisions. They got back and said they also knew.
Send it to a respectable newspaper who you'd expect would love a story like that, and I suspect it will be investigated and hopefully outed into the world.

Or maybe not if you other posts are correct, which is even more of a stink and highlight even more just how much the press are in bed with the league.

I was told by an ex-PL referee how they were heavily scrutinised by the PGMOL and were given, in layman's terms, quotas that they would have to abide by.

Oh absolutely. The top referees are not the ones who know the rules and are best at spotting stuff; the real skill is impacting the flow of the game

I'm considering if I can just watch red zone on a Sunday.
The late games are virtually full coverage on sky mix.

Sky Sports Mix is free to air. You get it with all basic packages.

Redzone is the only watchable sport show. Always entertaining. Just wish I wasn't up for work next day! If it was a Saturday show it would be pure bliss :)
