Refs in the premier league earn £70k a year. A weeks wages for a squad player would be enough to change their entire lives.

If anyone thinks that with the billions of pounds floating around in the premier league, that these lads can’t be bought off then they’re either thick or naive.

They hold the future of billions of pounds in their hands every single week and they get paid a pittance in comparison , and they are getting it wrong every single week despite being able to refer back to video replays.

The referees are match fixing and the money is trickling down from the FA who want to control viewing figures , sponsorships etc. VAR has made it more obvious than its ever been.

different way to look at the league table.

In the next five games Norwich at home are the only game you'd expect three points.

then it's the Leicester, trip to Anfield, Chelsea and Utd. might be lucky to draw two.

If our win had taken us into the top 4 it´d be a bit easier to digest the Liverpool march to the title. Catapulting ourselves into 15th place doesn´t quite have the same effect.

Probably a blessing in disguise as it is. If we were in the top4, most of our fans wouldn’t want us to win the games we play against the other top 4 contenders as it would be doing them a favour and they wouldnt want the RS beating them either even if it helped us. As @davek once said ‘I hate the RS more than I love Everton’, unfortunately, this can be said about a large minority of our fanbase.

I've said on here many times I KNOW of one who is bent.
I even wrote to the managers of clubs involved in his decisions. They got back and said they also knew.

with evidence like that, surely you should take that elsewhere? You‘ve gone to the trouble of writing to the managers of the clubs involved, surely the next step would be writing to the press with copies of the letters you received back? Or do you not want it outed?

So because @davek said something (which i'm pretty sure he said before you even joined on here) you now think "a large minority" would rather not see us qualify for the Champions league even though about 90% of fans on here have already said the rs will probably win the league?

That Champions League Final (which I was one of the few wise ones on here that didn’t watch one minute of it) was a game changers for both Spurs and the RS. One team has nosedived since, the other has gone on to another level.

Had the RS lost that game (and by all accounts Spurs were the better team) that would have finished them. No way was that group of players coming back from that. Defeat would have destroyed them. On the other side, Spurs, being a Champions League winning club, would be flying now.

Not just for being the biggest prize in the game, that one game was mammoth for the direction of both clubs.

pretty much the same group of players came back and won it after losing it the previous year. Losing that game was a gamechanger for them.
