You are completely ignoring the next phase of play.

Every attacker in an offside position runs back to get himself onside in the next phase of play. That is obvious. As it is obvious that Mings starts the next phase of play WHEN THE MAN CITY PLAYER HAD MOVED TO AN ONSIDE POSITION.

So answer why doesn't a striker just do that in a game all the time?

Also...name another time a goal like that had happened?

Also...VAR ruled that the second Ming's touched it, it was the 2nd phase. The attacker getting "onside" doesn't come into it cos he doesn't have to get onside.
