I'll be honest, I'm not convinced all the working should be shown. It's pointless. If you want to show lines on the final edit then that makes sense to me, but in terms of the workings, I really don't see anything to be gained from that.

In all likelihood it is perfectly innocent. It is a guy getting to the final and correct decision. It's easy to make out there is some untoward reason, but there is no benefit to be so. It just takes a bit of time to arrive at the correct conclusion.

I agree it works better in CL & suggested it further up the thread that you dont show the lines on TV & that would definitely help.

I have watched the clip. I watched it live. My feeling is you are seeing someone self correct to get to the final and correct decision. That's what you do with graphical engineering.

Possibly - but for me it looks like the correct to agree with the linesmans decision. The line literally goes through the villa players backside second time, rather than at the edge of it
