How did Jesus not get a penalty for Man City? Awful decision what’s happened to VAR tonight? We should of had a peno too, do you only get a VAR if you ask? Is it cricket like with the reviews lol
Because its the powers that be who decide who get the VAR calls and 'the rub of the green'
with the officials. It was decided that Liverpool would get them last season as it would be good for business
if they finally won a title. Now its good for business for United to win a title - hence all of
the decisions are going there way. That decision last night not to award Jesus a penalty was just blatant.
The MO of the PL is as transparent as a sheet of Perspex and with a compliant media who toe the line
it never gets seriously questioned or debated. Truly scandalous.

Every keeper is as bad as each other, every keeper make's mistake's, but the hate of Pickford make's people not see error's for others.

Sorry ringmaster - that is rubbish. Everyone understands all keepers make mistakes, but the idea they are "as bad as each other" is laughable - if only someone had thought to count how many mistakes each keeper makes?

Pickford is one of the worst at saving shots
Pickford is the worst at making errors leading to goals
Pickford flaps and losing his head

It's not a "hate of Pickford", it's exhaustion with him, we have had the worst keeper in the league for the last 3 years

You can't deny the Anfield influence of years gone by, whether we like (to admit) it or not.

As much as we all know their fans are a load of whoppers on day trips from various parts of the country and world, I think this season proves just how much the referees have generally crumbled and given in to the pressure of their fans screaming and shouting for every potential foul.

Their players feed off this 'energy' generated inside the stadium, which is why we see the likes of Whopper in Chief Jordan Henderson even appearing calmer, for lack of a better word, when it comes to challenging refereeing decisions this season.

Referees have even stopped handing penalties out like candy to them, which is refreshing, and they appear to be currently treated like most other normal teams.

Just seen on Sky that the EFL have resolved the situation around the EFL trophy by announcing that the 2019/20 and this year’s final will be played on the same weekend on the 13th and 14th of next month, meaning either Salford will have a 1 day reign as holders or Portsmouth will only retain the trophy for one day until one of Tranmere, Lincoln, Sunderland or Oxford replace them as holders

Apparently it's just been announced that Bednereks red card when playing United has been overturned.
That decision was backed up and given by VAR. So what's the point of having VAR?
So, they are either totally incompetent or corrupt? Which one is it?
Hmmmm....
