Chelsea should've sacked their PE teacher a lot sooner. They must be absolutely kicking themselves for not pulling the trigger any sooner.

Given City's form I'm not sure it matters. They'll make top 4 and be ready for a title challenge next season, and their new signings will be bedded in.

Just seen Fulham’s disallowed goal.... that’s disgusting.... they were robbed.... credit to the manager though as he never mentioned it at all in the after match interview I saw

WOW just seen that Fulham goal disallowed. Who was the VAR ref for that and how did the ref not give it if his arms down and doesn't move it at all???
It's apparently in the rules. An accidental handball that leads to a goal can be disallowed. Makes no sense when they fixed the accidental handball rule where the defending team does it.

Because the rule is: if the ball touches your arm and leads to a goal it's disallowed.

It's black and white, apparently the thing we (fans) have all been asking for.

The VAR official was Jarred Gillett (nope, me neither).

But its you know what used as the excuse, when scoring is the real problem

Fin de siècle - they look like Klopp's other projects at this stage. Shattered physically, mentally and those margins that were going in their favour have deserted them.

Scoring is certainly a factor, but they don't press as well, TAA has been exposed, Thiago has been a passenger and Man City's resurgence is similar to Bayern's return to dominance. Klopp's mask slipped in that whole extra subs row and the pervasive negativity started there.

Good, they could lose every game from now to the Apocalypse and I wouldn't get bored of it.

Agreed, no one else was winning the league, and arguably they've maximized the time before Tuchel wears out his welcome better by bringing him in when they did.

As I understand it, the goal must be disallowed if it immediately precedes a goal. It's a terrible rules change that allows no discretion in cases like this. Arguably, as the rule stands defenders would be well served to intentionally rifle the ball off attackers' arms over and over again in order to deny the possibility of a shot.
