We’re probably looking at having to win 7 out of 12 to have a chance. If Leicester and Chelsea both better that total then fair enough. Coming in with about 68 points would give us a huge chance. Difficult though as it’s a lot of games to win.

I said at the start of the season 7th is the aim which so far we are on course for. Spurs having a serial cup winner as manager with 2 top class forwards in their arsenal has me worried in that cup final as if they win it and finish outside the top 7 they take one of the European spots meaning we'll need atleast 6th for europe.

Could do with WHU dropping off and Spurs overtaking them into the European places just incase they fluke that final lol

Its funny as Champions League is simply for the money - we have no chance of winning the thing whereas Europa League we genuinely have a chance of winning especially if we add good quality to the squad in the summer so I would be happy with Europa.

Tbh I hate all the south coast clubs and would gladly see them all in the championship. Full of kopites the lot of them. Portsmouth best of a bad bunch but can’t stand Bournemouth getting up for their World Cup final against us every season.

Yup, the first two were excellent, but they went downhill since. That song they did about a cafe in Bexhill they hung around during their childhoods is awful.

I'll happily take a draw v Chelsea and then win the next 3. That would make the table very interesting

CL though you can get the money and then get dumped out into the europa. It also stops your competitors getting in, but I see your point.

I think if we were going to get top 4 it would have been through doing what Leicester and United have done and winning enough games upfront. Closing and overtaking even a 6 point gap is a lot harder than it seems because normally a team wins a few to close the gap then loses the next few whilst the team they were chasing then wins. It takes a very good run of form and the team above to be very poor to close a 6 point gap and keep it closed. Catching United or Leicester will be difficult. I just want us to get europe though, to have some return for this season.

Sovereign Light Cafe. It’s a small shack on Bexhill On Sea promenade they used to hang around at during their childhoods. Nice full English breakfasts, but that’s the only thing it has going for itself.

Yeah especially after that fantastic start to the season. If we fall short of Europe it'll be very dissapointing.

No, that's not totally right, if we finished 4th and two teams from outside the top four won the CL and Europa league then we'd be bumped out of the CL.

A maximum of five teams from one country can qualify for the CL.
