Today’s Football 2020/21 Season

I think Roy Hodgson was spot on with his statement that players will now be trained to kick it at the defenders hands.
As if. He’s chatting rubbish. If you’re an attacker in the box you’re going for goal or trying to assist. No way will players try to deliberately kick/head it at a very small area to perhaps get a penalty.

No mate, neither of Joel Ward's handballs yesterday should have been given as a penalty.

Neither should Lindelof's.

Neither should Dier's.

But they all have been so that is now the precedent for the season.

Yes, they should - the rule is whether the ball is handled deliberately. Ward yesterday handled it deliberately (the second time anyway), so that penalty should have been given. Lindelof deliberately handled it as well. The only thing idiot ex-players have to argue against it on the tele is that its apparently impossible to react that quickly, which would be a lot more believable if keepers didnt react that quickly all the time.

Dier did not - could not - have handled that deliberately today and so it should not have been given.

Loving this. Mourinho will come out, like the massive bellend he is, playing the victim. Spurs get tons of decisions every season.

Remember the game at Goodison last season?

If you're an attacker with a shooting chance definitely. But what about crossing the ball or when there is no shooting opportunity? You don't think players will exploit that for a penalty?

Nope.

Unsure if you've ever played football before but your arms swing naturally as you run or spin round unless you wear one of these on the pitch.
