If people take their blue tinted specs off they'll realise we over rate most of our players. The reality is Richarlison aint no better than Wilf, DCL aint no better than Jimenez, Antonio etc hence why we never finish in a European spot anymore - there is a reason.

DCL is a good CF but all round for me I would take Antonio if he didnt have his injury problems which have stagnated his career.

Well tbf I wouldn't have said it about any of those teams. Burnley and Sheffield United were obvious flukes, I probably said as much at the time, and I've repeatedly said Wolves aren't as good as people make out although losing Jiminez and Jota like they did would cripple most sides.

This feels a bit different to me. I'm not even saying they're that good. I'd expect they'll be down around 7th or 8th next term. But I'm not convinced we'll be better.

To be honest they have the world-class talent of Antonio, so the world is their oyster really.

Their not just coping well. Moyes is getting tactics, motivation and togetherness out of a team { on paper } worse than Everton. Would get Manager of the year in my book. Credit where its rightfully due.

West ham play with the aggression and effort an Everton team should be playing with. They aren't a great side but they are hungry and getting the most out of their ability. Our players haven't been willing to go the extra mile this year. We dont deserve Europe and they do.

If only there was a way of judging who is better than everybody in a season.

Maybe we could have some sort of list or a table, get everybody to play each other twice, 1 home, 1 away and then at the end of the season we could see who was better than who based over 38 games.

But nar, something like that will never catch on, surely.
