Problem now is, if it all falls apart in the next two months before January, his replacement inherits a hugely expensively assembled squad. They only stayed up on a technicality anyway, hope they go down this season to make it right.
 


I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve heard commentators state “defenders don’t know what he’s going to do, he doesn’t know what he’s going to do” in reference to black players. St Maxim in our game now, Niasse, Zaha, Bolasie. I can’t honestly ever recall a commentator saying it about a white player.

The implication is that they don’t have the football intelligence to plan how they’re going to take on a defending player which in itself is a ridiculous statement like a player can know how they’re going to go past a man before the situation presents itself. They need to stop making such idiotic statements
