The Kane penalty is a shocking decision. The play is a foul on Kane and a dangerous one at that, although that is a technique he's employed and gotten away with for a long time. I know it isn't directly the same thing, but spilling an opponent in a rugby game like has you liable to get sent off.

This is spot on - the big issue is he remains unchallenged by the media. "Earned it" & "invites contact" spring to mind

It's not really elite anymore is it? When you consider the amount of world class players compared to the 90s for example and its a joke how much the standard has dropped.

Somebody needs to do something about penalties though, the sport is an absolute shambles,we seem to be the only team not hell bent on seeing penalties as the best way of scoring. So many players like salah just look to fall over in the box instead of trying to score on merit. You'll see it every game now where a player just falls over in the box trying their luck. This weekend has been embarrassment, so many games decided by a penalty. They're being paid so much money and yet still try amd chest and look for advantages, it's the only sport like this.
 

Football is pretty much dead. Every match is now a lottery as to whether the ref will find a way to award a goal or penalty. How anyone can look at the Gomes “foul” yesterday and think yep that’s a pen or the Brighton foul in the lead up to their goal and not laugh at the incompetence of the ref trying to justify not seeing him wipe a player. We’ve seen it all season with the no fans that something is missing. The season is nothing more than a load of glorified friendlies.
 

The top 12-13 positions in the league table looking very tight now aren't they? I guess that's what a mixed bag of results and no unbeaten sides will do..
 
11 ajax players got texted positive for covid -19,might bang some money on that Danish team tomorrow for the Champions League tie.
