If you rate the nation's league it is, could also be thought of as a complete waste of time.

England won't need any nation's league playoffs and can't be relegated. (Infact they usually sleepwalk to qualification and top the group without even trying)
 
Don’t really get Southgate’s logic here going like for like against Belgium, why play a right back as a third CB when you have one in good form, who kept a clean sheet last game on the bench? Why drop Sancho, Saka and DCL who all played well against Ireland? Why play two donkeys in the centre head to head against Witsel and Tielemans?

Like every England manager mate, when they play one of the big teams they play safe and revert back to the norm.

Simple,play who he wants for friendly's, when important as you say go back to the normal team, saying that i dont care as long as our players are ok, nice to see he kept Keane this time after just droping him from the squad totally last month lol
