Vast majority of those off target because City fall to pieces in the box thanks to Spurs' pressure.
It's still a massive gap in attacking play.

If Palace did this we'd be talking about how unlucky City were but because it is Spurs it is brilliant tactics and all that.

No we wouldn't.
City struggle against a packed defence who doesn't give them space in the box.

Yeah but it didnt really hit the man in the street THAT much.

Few pennies here and there for the majority of us.
This side of the pond that depended upon whether those pennies cost you your home or not.

Anyway football: where we actually that great in 08? I feel like you should make it RobertosGoat

Spurs aren't a limited side though. They have two of the top maybe 6 (?) attacking players in the league which bails out the lack of front foot play. I love Richarlison and DCL but I doubt they could do it the same.

Midfield and defence they aint much imo - start of the season I would say duking it out with Utd and Arsenal for 5th/6th but he'll have them in the top 4 this season imo and probably the League Cup as I cant see either us/Utd, City or Newcastle beating them.

Love Carlo but only way he's going to succeed here is if we massively improve recruitment which I can't see under Brands.

City just look a side who's best days have gone, others don't fear them anymore and know they can always score against them. It just looks as though the methods that worked a few years ago are becoming outdated.

Pep will go on about possession stats, he always does, his usual refrain of we dominated they hardly had any chances and scored everytime, is wearing a bit thin it's not all about possession.

If any team defends their box like Spurs just did, City struggle. Doesn't matter who.
I'm not really arguing that, just that it gets framed differently depending on who it is actually doing it. If we went to City and did it no one would be talking about how smart Carlo is I don't think.
